This month we managed to jag some fabulous weather for our Quantum Weekend in Mildura.
We spent 4 days studying level 1 where we looked at the importance of developing our horses confidence in going forward and how preparing them on line helps us for when we hop on and ride them forward. There were lots of 'ah-ha' moments when we had a good look at our rebounds alongside the fence and how about Jane's focus and determination when she worked through this to help Cloud find where the comfort was! It was a fabulous demonstration that everybody learnt from and after that both Jane and Sally were able to help their horses to calm down when asking them to jump the barrels. There were so many great acheivements over these four days, and to top it off, Alexa was able to ask her horse to walk onto the float to go home (a task that was challenging her at the beginning!)

Here are some Student Ta-Da's from the weekend:
Cantered both ways with 1 rein!
Another Passenger Lesson
Personal space!
Jumping the Barrels
Psalm stayed in walk whilst yeilding others in a Passenger Lesson
Nice Direct rein steps
Sally worked through some difficult patches with Dream
I completed my 1 rein riding assignment after 12 months of no riding
Psalm became softer in lateral flexion, bend to a stop and indirect reins.
Alexa loaded Anki onto the horsefloat by herself
