It was fantastic to get together with you all in Mildura once again to share our horsemanship knowledge, to see you all stretching your comfort zones and 'working through the ugly bits until we find the brilliant bits'.

The team in the first weekend did a fabulous job with their Level 1 riding and we seen the benefits of having only one rein to learn to change our instictive habits to that which our horses need to help them out emotionally and find comfort in going forward. What a difference that first trot passenger lesson made! We then got to see the Level 2 Secondary students strut their stuff and again the fantastic changes that took place in their canter passenger lesson. We had the perfect end to our L2 lessons with a relaxing trail walk out to a nice open area that we explored using the impulsion programme 'the stopping spot' It worked a treat and the horses (and of course the riders) were all happy and calm in this new area by the time we had finised.

PLUS....we did our first Level 3 Lessons!! Yay! It was exciting to see so many students in Mildura getting their first taste of Level 3, working with the Ranch Rope, Long Reining, Flank Roping and of course doing much more with their liberty and starting their Bareback and bridle less riding!!
