Wentworth Show 2010

I have just returned home from a fabulous weekend at the Wentworth Show. I had a stall a the show again this year and this time, I added a yard to our tent and did some mini liberty and bareback & bridle less demonstrations with Dolly. This really caught everybodys attention and we soon had crowds of people gathering around to watch.

Plus, myself, Cindy, Carmen, Dr Deb and Stacey all entered into some of the western events. I am very proud to say that Cindy did really well, taking home a number of ribbons - including some blue ones! Even though some of us hadn't done any of these type of events before, all the QS students made their prescence known, getting many placings througout the day. Dolly and I came home with a Second, 3 Thirds and 2 Fourth ribbons and am quite pleased to say that I got a place in every event that I entered into, even though my horse is a thoroughbred and I was in English dress, (and with very little preperation I might add as I was also busy with the stall)It just goes to show that with a solid foundation, you can be prepared for anything!

Well done everyone and thank you, especially Liz for all your help with the stall.
